Going away for 10 days in September and trying to figure out what to do with my dog. Never boarded her before, always just had a friend or family member watch her, but nobody's free this time.
Been looking around and there seem to be a lot more "proper" boarding places now than I remember. Stuff like Halo Dogs out in Enfield keeps coming up, seems more like a big open estate than a kennel, but I've never used a place like that so no idea if it's worth it vs. just paying a sitter to stay at my flat.
Does anyone have actual experience with boarding somewhere like that in North London vs. hiring a sitter? Mainly worried about separation anxiety. She's fine with people she knows but I don't know how she'd handle a totally new place for over a week.
