Warwickshire is better served for dog-friendly hotels than most counties we’ve covered, and several hotels publish their dog fees. Prices change, so treat the figures below as what each operator’s page said when we checked, and confirm when you book. Small B&Bs, cottages and campsites were harder to verify, so that section is thinner.
Hotels that state their dog policy
Mallory Court Hotel & Spa, Harbury Lane, Bishop’s Tachbrook, Leamington Spa CV33 9QB (01926 330214), allows dogs in designated dog-friendly rooms at £25 per dog per night, with a bed, bowl, poo bags and treats on arrival. Ring so a room can be allocated. The Swans Nest Hotel, Bridge Foot, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 7LT, charges £20 per dog per night for a maximum of two pets per room, in selected rooms only, with no dogs in the restaurant. One aggregator says dogs stay free; use the hotel’s own figures.

Clarion Hotel Charlecote Pheasant, Charlecote CV35 9EW, lists a dog-friendly room supplement of £15 per night (the page doesn’t say per dog or per room), with dogs also allowed in the bar and lower lounge. Holiday Inn Kenilworth – Warwick, Abbey End, charges £20 per pet per night for up to two pets with no weight limit, according to IHG. DoubleTree by Hilton Stratford-upon-Avon lists a £25 non-refundable pet fee and a maximum weight of 34 kg; the page says “pet” rather than “dog”. Ansty Hall, Ansty CV7 9HZ, charges £40 per stay for up to two dogs, in seven dog-friendly rooms in the Weavers building, with dogs welcome in the lounge but not the restaurant. Its postal address says Coventry, but it is in Rugby borough.
The Oak at Baginton, Coventry Road CV8 3AU, is a Stonegate pub with dog-friendly rooms, a dog pack and an enclosed paddock, and “a small fee applies” with no amount stated. Baginton is in Warwickshire but on the Coventry edge, and our sources date from 2022, so check it still offers this.
Chains and Landmark
Travelodge says pets are welcome in every room type with a per-pet cleaning charge, but it doesn’t state the amount. Its Warwickshire hotels include Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby Central, Rugby Dunchurch, Stratford Alcester and Nuneaton Bedworth; confirm each hotel when you book. Premier Inn says that apart from trained assistance dogs it doesn’t allow pets at its hotels. The Landmark Trust’s Warwickshire page shows Astley Castle near Nuneaton and a canal-towpath cottage as dog-allowed, while one woodland folly isn’t. We didn’t read the individual property pages, so check fees and limits.
Leads, exclusions and gaps
Ettington Park Hotel says “dog-friendly” without fees or limits, and Hotel du Vin’s group policy (£25 for one dog, £40 for two, selected hotels only) doesn’t name Stratford, so we couldn’t confirm it. Aggregators call The Globe in Warwick and the Stratford Park Hotel dog-friendly, but we found no operator statement. Aggregator lists show many dog-allowed campsites, including Hampton Lucy Holiday Park, but we didn’t check operators. We couldn’t confirm pet policies at Holiday Inn Leamington Spa-Warwick, Holiday Inn Express Nuneaton and Warwick, or Hampton by Hilton Nuneaton. We found no verified B&Bs or cottages in Rugby, Nuneaton, Southam, Shipston, Alcester or Henley-in-Arden. That is a limit of what we could verify, not proof there are none.
A new room and a long day out can unsettle a nervier dog. A calming bite before you travel can help take the edge off the first night away, and if your dog is regularly anxious away from home, speak to your vet.
