Dog Services in Lincolnshire: Trainers, Vets, Sitters & More

Two long-coated dogs on a beach

Gibraltar Point is a coast where the date matters. The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust bans dogs from the beach and foreshore from 1 April to 1 September, and asks for a short lead on the beach the rest of the year. Dogs on the reserve itself should be on a lead too, as grazing livestock are present. Inside the visitor centre it’s assistance dogs only, though dogs can use the outside veranda.

Lincolnshire has county pages for trainers, vets and swimming spots, plus sitters and groomers for Lincoln. Rescue and pet transport link to the UK-wide guides.

Plan around the season

Coastal rules often change with the time of year, so look up the current rules for a beach or reserve rather than relying on last year’s. Always bag and bin what your dog leaves behind.

A supplement option

If you’re weighing up a supplement, Calmshops has Calmdogs probiotic chews to look at. Ask your vet whether it’s worth adding. For hands-on training support, see our Lincolnshire trainers page.
