Staffordshire is one of the stronger counties we’ve covered for secure dog fields: seven bookable fields with their own booking pages or listings, spread from the Stoke edge to the Lichfield side of the county. Prices and availability change, so confirm on the booking page before you travel.

Don Dog Ltd, Beacon Lane, Kinver DY7 5NF. This has a Stourbridge postcode, but Kinver is in South Staffordshire, so it genuinely counts. Rated fields we couldn’t check on their own sites
An aggregator for the Burton upon Trent area lists Paws in the Park (Stockley Park farm, Anslow Road, 5.0 stars from 80 reviews), Ash Brook Dog Walking Field (Radmore Lane, 5.0 from 30) and Newlands Dog Walking Field near Uttoxeter (5.0 from 36). Those ratings come from the aggregator, not from us, and we haven’t confirmed each field’s own booking page, so treat them as strong leads to check yourself. A longer list of fields tagged for Stafford, Cannock, Lichfield, Tamworth, Leek and Rugeley turns up on dog-field directories, but we haven’t verified those individually, so we’ve left them off rather than guess.
Border cases and look-alikes
Several fields tagged Staffordshire by aggregators are actually in the West Midlands: fields around Wolverhampton, Dudley and Walsall, and one at Sutton Coldfield. Fields in the Burton results at Overseal and Foston are in Derbyshire, and Appleby Magna and Donisthorpe are in Leicestershire. Names like Pooch’s Paddock and Paws in the Park appear in several counties, so always match the postcode. We also left out one field near Lichfield that was reported to be operating while still awaiting retrospective planning permission.
A secure field is a lovely place for a reactive or nervy dog to run without surprise visitors. A calming bite can help take the edge off the journey there. If reactivity is a regular issue, that is worth discussing with your vet or a qualified trainer.
