Secure Dog Fields in Warwickshire: Fenced Fields to Hire

Dog standing in an open grassy field

Warwickshire has a good run of bookable secure dog fields, clustered around Leamington and Stratford. We confirmed each from an operator page, but several pages leave out prices or fence heights, so we’ve said where we’re relying on a listing site. Always check fencing yourself if your dog is a jumper.

Fields with operator pages

Harbury Fields Dog Walking Fields, Middle Road, Harbury CV33 9JN, has 6ft security fencing, up to six dogs per session and online booking. It lists £5.50 for 25 minutes (1 to 3 dogs) or £10 for 55 minutes, with higher prices for 4 to 6 dogs, open 7:30am to 5:30pm in winter. Leamington Dog Field (Squab Hall Estate), Harbury Lane CV33 9QB, is a six-acre paddock with a 1.9m perimeter fence, a coded-gate car park, up to six dogs and two cars per session and online booking. Its booking page didn’t show a price; a listing site says from £14 for 50 minutes.

Dog running freely in a secure, fenced dog field

Westcote Ley Dog Field, Tysoe Road, Radway CV35 0BS, is two acres with a 6ft fence and an enclosed car park, booked online. It doesn’t accept XL Bully or other Dangerous Dogs Act breeds. A listing site gives £10 per hour and up to eight dogs, but the operator page doesn’t. Liberty Dog Fields, Brickyard Lane, Studley B80 7EE, has three fields from £10 each with additional dogs from £2; contact them for more than six dogs. Its page doesn’t state a fence height. Wag n Train, Weston under Wetherley CV33 9BP, offers six acres of private paddocks, but fence, price and maximum dogs came from a listing site; it is also a training business. XPC Pet Services near Stratford offers a fully fenced two-acre paddock at £10 per hour for up to three dogs, but a listing site gives the fence as 4ft, so it is a poor fit for tall jumpers.

River Meadow Dog Walking at Clifford Chambers, CV37 8HR, is only partly fenced, as one side is the River Stour, so it isn’t a full secure field. It is bookable by the half hour at around £3 per dog, according to a listing site, and Stratford-on-Avon District Council granted planning permission subject to conditions in December 2023.

Leads and border cases

These are leads to check by hand. Greengate Dog Field at Thurlaston near Rugby, Stretton Secure Dog Walking Field at Stretton under Fosse (a 2021 review reported gaps at the base of the fence), Ettington Dog Walking Meadows south of Stratford, Lobbington Dog Field at Lighthorne Heath and Glebe Farm at Birchley Heath near Nuneaton all appear on listing sites, but we couldn’t read an operator page for each. A new two-acre field on Banbury Road in Warwick had planning permission in 2025, but we found no opening date. Melody’s Meadows at Wolston, Paws & Play at Tanworth-in-Arden and Packwood Paws are border cases that listing sites place in Coventry or Solihull, and we didn’t research them. Meriden Dog Training and Exercise Paddock is in the West Midlands, so we’ve excluded it. We found nothing in Atherstone, Alcester, Southam, Kenilworth or Henley-in-Arden.

A secure field is a lovely option for a reactive or nervy dog. A calming bite can help take the edge off the journey there, and if reactivity is a regular issue, that is worth discussing with your vet or a qualified trainer.
