West Yorkshire is well served for bookable secure dog fields, with ten we could confirm from an operator’s own page, spread across Leeds, Wharfedale, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield. Some pages leave out prices, fence heights or both, so we’ve marked what comes from a listing site. Confirm before you travel.

Leads and exclusions
Lees Moor Paws near Keighley and Bark-Island at Barkisland have operator sites with booking pages, but we couldn’t see their prices or fences. A long list of fields appears on listing sites, including Parkfield Dog Park at North Featherstone, Barklands near Holmfield and fields in Brighouse, Southowram, Horsforth, Yeadon, Crigglestone and Middlestown, but we haven’t verified them. Leeds Dock Dog Park is a free public park, and a field at Skipton is in North Yorkshire. Blossoms Field at Cowling may also be North Yorkshire, so check the postcode.
A secure field is a lovely option for a reactive or nervy dog. A calming bite can help take the edge off the journey there, and if reactivity is a regular issue, that is worth discussing with your vet or a qualified trainer.
