Secure Dog Fields in Worcestershire: Private Hire Near You

Dog standing in an open grassy field

Worcestershire is well supplied with private-hire secure dog fields, and we found fourteen with their own websites. Prices were published for only some of them, and fence heights and dog limits are patchy, so we’ve given what each site says and flagged what it doesn’t. Ask about reactive dogs and the number of dogs before you book.

Worcester and Kidderminster

Claines Secure Dog Field (School Bank, Claines, WR3 7RD) offers 30 or 60 minute slots booked online across four enclosed fields. Its own site doesn’t show prices or fence details. Dog Exercise Paddock Worcester (Whittington Road, WR5 2RA) is a 1.25 acre paddock with a 6ft steel mesh fence, a coded gate, water and a private car park, booked in time slots, and the site doesn’t show a price. Brookhill Farm (WR5 2NU) charges £13 for one hour on 22 acres with a brook, keypad gate and parking for four small cars, and its page doesn’t give fence details. Otherton Farm Dog Park (Cotheridge, WR6 5LS) is one acre with 6ft metal fencing: £10 for an hour for up to two dogs, £12 for up to five.

Perry Dog Field (Torton, Hartlebury, DY10 4HY) is four acres with a fence of about 180cm and an extra foot buried, so dogs that can jump that height aren’t suitable. It is designed with reactive dogs in mind, but a railway runs along the bottom, which may bother train-nervous dogs. Prices are on a page we didn’t see.

Droitwich and Bromsgrove

Muttnall Green (Cutnall Green, WR9 0NE) has two acres with 6ft deer fencing and rabbit mesh dug in, in 25 or 55 minute slots. Its booking widget wouldn’t load when we looked, so we couldn’t confirm the price. Wychbold Walkies (Crown Lane, WR9 0BX) has two fields with 2m deer fencing, 50-minute hire for up to eight dogs per field, but its price isn’t shown and its two field sizes are inconsistent. Hampton Lovett Dog Field is securely fenced, with no fence height, price or postcode on its booking page. Warridge Paws (Timberhonger Lane, Bromsgrove, B61 9DW) charges £10 an hour for up to three dogs, plus £2 for each extra one up to six, on two acres with a 6ft fence. Bromsgrove Field Hire (Fairfield, B61 9NJ) uses credits or a monthly pass and a free induction, with “high, secure fencing” of unstated height.

Stourport and Evesham

Canine Capers (Blackstone, Stourport-on-Severn) charges £5 per half-hour slot for up to eight dogs, with a secure two-acre field and a four-acre one with a 4.5ft fence that big breeds may clear. Mr Sargeant’s Dog Park (Dunley) lists £12 an hour and says all breeds are welcome, but we couldn’t confirm the fence or booking details. Marvellous Hounds (Aldington, WR11 7XB) has 6ft livestock fencing with rabbit-proof mesh and suits anxious or reactive dogs, but its price isn’t shown. Tower View Dog Park (Wickhamford, WR11 7RP) is just over two acres with a 4ft fence: £6 for 30 minutes or £10 for an hour for one or two dogs.

Leads and gaps

Lead The Way at Kidderminster (three acres, 4ft fence), Hagley Park Secure Dog Field (5ft fence) and Kemble’s Field near Pershore, a gundog training field, have their own sites but we couldn’t confirm prices, so ring first. Several others appear only on listing sites. We found no fields in Redditch, Malvern, Upton upon Severn or Ombersley, which may reflect our search tools. Fields in Kinver, Stourbridge and Dudley are outside Worcestershire.

A fenced field is a lovely way to let an anxious or reactive dog run, and a calming bite may help take the edge off the journey. If your dog’s worries go beyond that, speak to your vet or a qualified trainer. For open-access routes, see our dog walks in Worcestershire, and our Worcestershire dog services hub.
